Given the polarized nature of American

become somewhat cliched. But this afternoon, MSNBC's Dylan Ratigan took to his show to
yell fire in a crowded theater, asking viewers, "Are things in our country so bad
that it might actually be time for a revolution? The answer is obviously 'yes.'" It's
difficult to explain the following clip without appearing to indulge in hyperbole, so it's
probably best to simply state the facts: Ratigan invites on cartoonist Ted Rall to talk
about his new book The Anti-American Manifesto, and argue the case for violent overthrow
of government. Quoting John Locke, Rall argues that "the people have an obligation to
revolt," and that "nothing will radicalize the American citizen more than being
thrown out of their home by a bank." Citing frustration with both parties, who he
called "in bed with the duopoly," Rall also noted that "the American left
has been very peaceful since the early '70s... and where has it gotten us?" Ratigan
did not seem particularly flustered by the proposition, though he did ask if Rall saw any
alternatives, especially peaceful political dissent, or what he called "European
semi-violent revolt." "If you could get everybody to do it," Rall
responded, "it could work, but you can't even get everyone to stop littering."

private contractors.

die bang was voor de slangen en machines in het ziekenhuis. Het kleine meisje klom op haar
moeder's bed, omgeven door familiefoto's speelgoed en het gemoedelijke van thuis. Moeder
en dochter deelden een laatste teder moment samen, voordat Vandenberg terug in coma gleed.
Vandenberg, 32 jaar, stierf de volgende
dag. Die kostbare tijd thuis had er eerder kunnen zijn, als de familie had geweten hoe ze
hadden kunnen praten over alternatieven voor agressieve behandelingen, zei Vandenberg's
schoonzus, Alexandra Drane. In plaats daarvan had Vandenberg, een apotheekster uit
Franklin, Mass., twee operaties, chemotherapie en bestraling ondergaan, voor een
ongeneeslijke hersentumor, voordat ze in juli 2004 stierf.
"We zouden een heel andere discussie
gevoerd hebben over die tweede operatie en de chemotherapie. We zouden haar wellicht
gewoon mee naar huis genomen hebben en haar in een prachtige stoel in de zon gezet hebben
en haar prachtige kleine dochtertje lekker rondom haar hebben laten spelen - haar niet
alleen maar gemarteld hebben in het ziekenhuis", zei Drane.
Steeds vaker worden Amerikanen tot de dood
behandeld, spenderen ze meer tijd in hun laatste dagen in het ziekenhuis, proberen
laatste-toevlucht behandelingen die vaak slechts enkele weken extra tijd opleveren en
jagen de rekeningen omhoog, die medische hulpinstanties de hoofdoorzaak van de bankroeten
hebben gemaakt. Meer dan 80% van de mensen die sterven in de V.S., hebben een langdurige,
progressieve ziekte zoals kanker, hartfalen of Alzheimer.
Meer dan 80% van deze patienten zeggen dat
ze ziekenhuisverblijf en intensive care willen vermijden als ze doodgaan, volgens het
Dartmouth Atlas Project, die trends in de gezonheidszorg bijhoudt. Echter, de cijfers
tonen aan dat dat niet is wat er gebeurt:
-de gemiddelde tijd die in hospice en
palliatieve zorg doorgebracht wordt, waar de nadruk ligt op comfort en kwaliteit van leven
zodra een ziekte ongeneeslijk is, gaat omlaag omdat mensen er te laat mee beginnen. In
2008 ontvingen eenderde van de mensen gemiddeld een week of minder hospice, zegt de
National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.
-Ziekenhuisverblijven gedurende de laatste
6 maanden van het leven worden talrijker: van 1.302 per 1000 ziekenzorgontvangers in 1996
to 1.441 in 2005, rapporteert Dartmouth. Het behandelen van chronische ziekte in de
laatste 2 jaar van het leven soupeert bijna eenderde van alle ziekenzorg dollars op.
"Mensen zijn nu eigenlijk zieker
wanneer ze doodgaan", en sommigen vinden dat behandelingen een grotere last zijn dan
de ziekte was, zei Dr. Ira Byock, direkteur van de palliatieve zorg aan het
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Families pushen richting behandeling, maar "er
zijn erger dingen dan dat iemand van wie je houdt sterft", zegt hij.
Gall Sheehy, schrijfster van de Passage
boeken, kwam daar achter toen haar man, New York Magazine oprichter Clay Felker, 17 jaar
lang tegen diverse soorten kanker streed. Op nieuwjaarsdag 2007 wachtten ze 8 uur op een
Eerste Hulppost voor een weer een CT scan, tot Felker haar aankeek en zei "geen
ziekenhuizen meer". "Ik legde gewoon een doek over hem heen en reed hem weg van
daar, terwijl de naalden nog in zijn arm zaten", zei Sheehy. Toen belde ze Dr. R.
Sean Morrison, president van de Amerikaanse Academie van Hospice en Palliatieve zorg en
een arts van Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
"Niemand was echt met hen om de tafel
gaan zitten over welke keuzes ze hadden en welke opties er waren", zei Morrison, die
hun arts werd. Ongeveer een jaar later haalde Felker zijn eigen voedingsslangetje los en
"hierdoor konden we uitgaan en een heerlijke avond bij een jazz club hebben, twee
avonden voordat hij stierf" in juli 2008, zei Sheehy.
Artsen kunnen niet voorspellen hoe snel een
patient zal overlijden, maar meestal weten ze het wel wanneer een ziekte ongeneeslijk is
geworden. Zelfs dan passen velen van hen "uitputtende behandeling" toe -
behandeling tot er geen opties meer over zijn die geprobeerd kunnen worden, zei Dr. Martha
Twaddle, chief medical officer van het Midwest Palliative & Hospice Care Center in
Chicago.
Een verbijsterend aantal kankerpatiënten
krijgt agressieve behandelingen in de laatste dagen van hun leven, constateerde ze. Een
grote studie van Medicare gegevens toonde aan dat bijna 12% van de kankerpatiënten die in
1999 stierven, chemo kregen in de laatste 2 weken van hun leven, tegen 10% in 1993.
Richtlijnen van een verbond van de belangrijkste kankercentra zeggen dat patienten wiens
kanker uitgezaaid is, zouden moeten stoppen met anti-kanker medicijnen, indien
opeenvolgende pogingen met 3 verschillende medicijnen falen in het laten slinken van de
tumoren. Toch krijgt bijna 20% van de patienten met uitgezaaide darmkanker op zijn minst
de vierde chemotherapie medicijnen, volgens Intrinsiq, een kanker data analyse bedrijf.
Hetzelfde geldt voor ruwweg 12% van patienten met borstkanker, en voor 12% van degenen met
longkanker. De analyse is gebaseerd op meer van 60.000 kankerpatienten.
Bij fatale ziekten wordt vaak overbehandeld, omdat patiënten het niet op willen geven.
Saideh Browne zei dat haar moeder, Khadija
Akmal-Lamb, tegen haar vergevorderde baarmoederkanker wilde vechten, zelfs toen ze wist
dat het uitgezaaid was naar haar lever. De 55 jarige vrouw uit Kansas City, had chemo tot
2 weken voordat ze stierf in Augustus. "Ze bleef maar overgeven, ze kon niet naar het
toilet", en haar lichaam deed pijn, zei Browne. De dokters drongen aan op hospice
verzorging en zeiden "je moeder was koppig", herinnert Browne zich, "ze
wilde haar chemo en ze wilde leven".
Browne, die in New York woont, formeerde een vrouwen kankerstichting ter ere van haar
moeder. Ze zegt dat ze stervende kankerpatienten zou willen aanmoedigen om fijne
verzorging te verkiezen boven nodeloze medicatie die het lijden verlengt. Maar, dat is
gemakkellijker gezegd dan gedaan.
De Amerikaanse manier is "nooit
opgeven, hopen op een wonder", zei Dr. Porter Storey, een voormalig directeur van een
hospice, die vice-president is van de hospice groep waarvan Morrison hoofd is. "we
gebruiken voortdurend sport-metaforen en oorlogs-metaforen. We praten over nooit opgeven
en dat het niet voorbij is totdat de dikke dame zingt......glorievolle mensen die vochten
tot hun allerlaatste ademtocht", waar we hen beter zouden helpen om de dood te
accepteren als een onvermijdelijk deel van het leven, zei hij.
Dit is zeker het geval wanneer je besluit
om een van de nieuwere, extreem dure kankermedicijnen zoals Avastin, Erbitux en Tarceva te
proberen. Sommigen worden aangeprijsd als "verbetert overlevingskansen met 30 tot
50%", terwijl ze in feite alleen betekenen dat je 3 weken of maanden langer leeft in
plaats van 2.
"Het is verbazingwekkend hoe weinig voordeel deze studies laten zien", zegt
Storey, verwijzend naar onderzoek voor de nieuwe medicijnen.
Dan Waeger probeerde ze zo'n beetje
allemaal. Als niet-roker kreeg hij de diagnose longkanker toen hij 22 was en volgende hij
behandeling na behandeling voordat hij bijna 4 jaar later stierf, Maart 2009. "Hij
besloot dat als er een kans was, hij die kans zou grijpen" zegt zijn baas, Ellen
Stovall, toen direkteur van het National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, waar Waeger
als fondsenwerver en ontwikkelingsmanager werkte. "Hij kreeg zo'n beetje elk

Gregg and Jannett Keesling are the parents
of Chancellor Keesling, a US soldier who took his own life on June 19th of this year.
Chancellor was on his second tour of duty in Iraq. During his first deployment, he
suffered mental health issues so severe he was placed on suicide watch. After getting back
to the United States, Chancellor had turned down a bonus offer to return to Iraq in the
hopes he wouldnt be redeployed. But he was called back in May. One month later, he took
his own life. Since Chancellors death, Gregg and Jannett Keesling have yet to receive a
letter of condolence from President Obama. After making inquiries, they discovered that
this was not because of an oversight. Instead, its because of a longstanding US policy to
deny presidential condolence letters to the families of soldiers who take their own lives.

I recently traveled to Washington DC and
New York City to shoot footage for my new film. The first thing we noticed when arriving
in DC was how difficult it was to navigate the road designs and drive around the city. The
roads in DC were clearly not designed for functionality but rather were designed by
occultists in order to harness and channel dark energy from the spirit world. When you
study the activities of the global elite you will eventually find that they are deeply
involved in the occult and the ancient mystery religions. Washington DC is the centre hub
of occult power in America. Sacred Geometry and satanic symbolism is hidden in plain site,
but those who have eyes to see can see it. Nearly every building is modeled after Greek,
Roman and Egyptian structures which idealize the empires of the past. Our purpose for
going to DC was to shoot footage of the buildings and institutions which are deeply
involved in the push towards a One World Government. Some of these include the Federal
Reserve, the Capital building, the White House and the House of the Temple also known as
the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry supreme council of the 33rd degree. While
attempting to film these structures we were approached by secret service and DC security
around 15 times (most of which were captured on film). The agents wanted our names and our
ID but unlike most people in the nations capital, we know our rights and we never did
submit that information to them, not once. One officer informed me that it is illegal to
film the security because it is suspicious! One of the Federal Reserve officers told me
that he wanted my name to be entered into a data base in order to find out if I pose a
threat. This current incremental approach towards a police state is all possible because
of the false flag attack known as 911. Without 911 the slow erosion of our freedoms would
not be possible. The occultists who reside in Washington DC have utilized their mind
manipulation technique known as Order out of Chaos in order to prepare the world for the

Asch and Napoleon Chagnon—was re-examined and its strictly genetic-determinist
interpretation called into question. Other researchers were called upon to verify
Chagnon’s conclusions and arrived at totally opposed opinions. The suggestion was
raised that the presence of a film crew and the handing out of machetes to some, but not
all, tribesmen might have caused them to ‘perform’ as they did. While being
questioned by Curtis, Chagnon was so annoyed by this suggestion that he terminated the
interview and walked out of shot, protesting under his breath. Film of Richard Dawkins
propounding his ultra-strict “selfish gene” analogy of life was shown, with the
archive clips spanning two decades to emphasise how the severely reductionist ideas of
programmed behaviour have been absorbed by mainstream culture. (Later, however, the
documentary gives evidence that cells are able to selectively replicate parts of DNA
dependent on current needs. According to Curtis such evidence detracts from the simplified
economic models of human beings.). This brought Curtis back to the economic models of
Hayek and the game theories of Cold War. Curtis explains how, with the “robotic”
description of humankind apparently validated by geneticists, the game theory systems
